Anne Tyler is easily one of the greatest writers today and Earthly Possessions is a wonderful introduction to her work. She writes characters that are believable and their developments move the story along. You will fall in love with Charlotte and definitely be seeking out more Tyler to read. Lucky for you, she has written a lot!
